Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort is without question located in one of the most spectacular sites in the world, the majestic valley of the Pitons (Val des Pitons). Rainforest Spa
Set in peaceful and tranquil surroundings the award winning Spa is nestled at the base of St Lucia’s World Heritage-listed Petit Piton. Blending its natural surroundings, traditional St Lucian culture and the latest techniques the Rainforest Spa is an unforgettable treat.


Sugar Beach, a Viceroy resort is located on the south western part of St. Lucia about 3 miles outside the town of Soufriere, between the world famous Pitons. Soufriere is a historic town with the island’s main natural attractions; the drive-in volcano, botanical gardens and waterfalls in close proximity.


It is a 45 minute drive from Hewannorra International Airport.

There are 67 Luxury Villas and Luxury Cottages, 8 Luxury Beachfront Bungalows and 11 Luxury Sugar Mill Rooms.


Each room category offers unique elements but all rooms & suites include the following as standard; Cable TV, clock radio, in room safe, slippers and bathrobes, coffee and tea making facilities, hairdryer, 110/220 volt outlets, mini-bar with complimentary soft drinks and local beers, iPod station and DVD player.


Sugar Mill Luxury Rooms
Nestled into the mountain side, the Luxury Sugar Mill Rooms are within easy reach of the resort’s Great House, the swimming pool and the white sands of Anse des Pitons and have the same plantation elegant styling of the Luxury Villas.


Each has a private plunge pool and walled garden. The majority have lovely views of Gros Piton across the waters of the Sugar Mill lily pond and the ruins of an 18th century sugar mill.


Superior Sugar Mill Luxury Rooms
These are similar in style to the Luxury Rooms with the added benefit of a roof top terrace.


Luxury Cottage
Tucked amid the lush vegetation and fruit trees these accommodations offer enclaves of privacy, tranquillity and stunning views. The spacious bedroom speaks to the resort’s plantation history with high beamed ceilings and romantic voile draped four poster bed.


A small sitting area provides further space to relax indoors, while outside a private terrace and plunge pool are an added bonus for those who like to bask in the warm Caribbean sunshine.

Bayside Bar & Restaurant
Enjoy open-air sea side dining with a magnificent view of the Pitons, available for lunch and dinner.


A la carte lunch is available from 12:30pm to 3:00pm. Dress code for lunch and breakfast is casual however bathing suits should be covered up.


The Great Room
For discerning diners there is the elegant Great Room, with its old world colonial charm serving Caribbean influenced fare in candlelit surroundings.


The Cane Bar
A specialty rum bar featuring cutting edge style, a glowing white bar, and comfortable over-sized furniture in a palette of white and soft charcoal, as well as a wide selection of rum and a “rummelier” to help guide guests through their choices.


In addition to the offerings behind the bar, The Cane Bar also features a Japanese-inspired menu to provide the perfect accompaniment to your chosen libation.


The Terrace
Situated on the ground floor of the Great House, the restaurant features air-conditioned or al fresco dining for breakfast only.


Beach Service
Get served the cocktail of your choice or food from the Bayside snack menu when relaxing at the beach or pool.


Kabé Privé
Private cabanas available for day use or private dining. Guests can discuss their menu requirements with our culinary team. Diners will have a dedicated server, welcome cocktail, amuse bouche, and assorted petit fours to round off the evening.
