St Lucia Holidays

General Description: St Lucia (pronounced Loosha) has some of the most enviable scenery in the world and duly deserves the moniker ‘Helen of the West Indies’. The centre of the island is filled with steep peaks and plunging valleys covered in lush rainforest (looks like a scene from Jurassic Park without the dinosaurs!) that sweep down to the honey coloured and dark sand beaches. Its most famous peaks are The Pitons which are located in the South west of the country and are a must see for all visitors.

The island offers many unique vistas and is blessed with an excellent choice and standard of accommodation with no high rise properties allowed on the island. St Lucia is a food lovers paradise with something to offer all tastes. Tourism is generally concentrated in the North West corner of the island in the Rodney Bay area with its many bars, restaurants and tours offices. Despite the islands quite reputation, the places buzzes at the weekends and midweek there is always a live music session somewhere.
